POEM #1 MOM Mom, please don't feel guilty It was just my time to go. I see you are still feeling sad, And the tears just seem to flow. We all come to earth for our lifetime, And for some it's not many years I don't want you to keep crying You are shedding so many tears. I haven't really left you Even though it may seem so. I have just gone to my heavenly home, And I'm closer to you than you know. Just believe that when you say my name, I'm standing next to you, I know you long to see me, But there's nothing I can do. But I'll still send you messages And hope you understand, That when your time comes to “cross over,” I'll be there to take your hand. Author Unknown POEM #2 If you knew where I am standing If you could see the sights I see If you could hear the angels singing The songs they sing eternally. If you knew the One I'm holding Could see the smile He smiles at me If you knew where I am resting You would not cry for me. I'm resting in the arms of Jesus No other place would I rather be. So if you shed a tear, Please don't shed it for me. For if you knew where I am resting You would not cry for me Author Unknown POEM #3 I Just Had To Leave I just had to leave, Hoping that you would not grieve. I was tired of suffering with pain, Knowing when I left, Eternal life I'd gain. It wasn't always easy for me. I was the best I could ever be. There were good days and bad. Somehow they all turned out to be glad. Even though you may shed tears, God will be there to calm your fears. When God called for me on Thursday, November 6, 2008, That's when I discovered, I just had to leave. |
POEM #4 I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus' arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread? Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still; Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's Will. There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth - You shall rest in Jesus' land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come! Author Unknown POEM #5 I cannot let you grieve for me, For those who love must let us go. In comfort, please believe I’m free, From all the pain life can bestow, As I begin my world anew, Consider not what used to be, I’m sending happy smiles to you While I enjoy eternity. Lord, bless the home From which I came, Yet brush each lonely hour away, With fond remembrance of my name, And a sunshine for a newer day. Look to the wind to find me there, Beside the hardest thing you do. I’ve left my love within this prayer I’m always watching over you. Author unknown POEM # 6 The Magic of a Mother's Touch There's magic in a Mother's touch, and sunshine in her smile. There's love in everything she does to make our lives worthwhile. We can find both hope and courage Just by looking in her eyes. Her laughter is a source of joy, her works are warm and wise. There is a kindness and compassion to be found in her embrace, and we see the light of heaven shining from a Mother's face. |
POEM # 7 You were a gift sent straight from Heaven. Given to us from God above. We didn't know how much you would teach us About the meaning of true love... For true love sometimes means letting go of someone precious and dear. That is what we were forced to do... Although we wanted to keep you here!!! However, this is quite a selfish wish. One we know we should ignore... But, sweet (babies name), we truly do believe That God must have needed you more... Perhaps to be an Angel now, Full of wisdom and love... Watching over those of us who love you From the shining stars above. We miss you more than you can know. You will never be replaced... In our hearts and memories forever, Will be your sweet and innocent sleeping face. POEM # 8 DON'T Don't spend too much time in mourning. Tears are for the sad. I left to be with Jesus, and this should make you glad. Don't waste your hours in grieving. No need to feel distress. I'm tired of life's frustrations, and had to get some rest. Don't vex yourself with questions, or try to reason why. Life here for me was ended; it came my time to die. Don't lose the love I gave you; feed it with your care. Grow it with devotion and spread it everywhere. Don't fret because my leaving came in such a way. We'll have another meeting, in God's Eternal Day! POEM # 9 I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. and days before that too, I often speak your name picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part you in my heart. |
