POEM #19 MOVING IN Dear Family and Friends, I want you to know that I have moved. I RECEIVED A CALL FROM God, the chief architecture, who informed me that I could move in immediately. You know that I have been sending my timber and only the chief carpenter Jesus Christ could do. Some were a little broad, or not long enough. Well, my new home is finished and it is such a beautiful sight to behold! It is located in an exclusive estate area and it sits behind beautiful pearly gates just off a serene celestial shore. Of course the streets are paved with gold and every day is Sunday here, I have been told. I've lived many places before my new home was prepared and none of the others compare. There is peace, joy, and happiness here with no pain to bear, no strife or discontent. There is only sweet serenity everywhere and I could go on and on about my new home, but I have to get fitted for my wings. My New Address Is: (Loved One's Name) Psalm 119 Jesus Way God's Town, Heaven 12620 Love You All, P. S. I don't have a phone yet, just call God. If you don't have the number, He is listed in the Holy Book on every page. POEM # 20 I'M FREE Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much. Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee. God wanted me now; HE SET ME FREE! |
POEM # 21 This day will be a celebration of the short time you were here. You will always be remembered with great love and many tears. But to only feel pain and sorrow would not be fair to you. Your life meant so much more to us, more than words could say. You were here so briefly, I wonder if you knew all the ways you’ve touched our world and our hearts and everyone who knew you since the day God called you home. Now my child, you’re an angel with your heavenly Father above, we see not only what we’ve lost but our capacity of love. There will always be a big void in our life and a hole in our hearts that will never heal. Our souls will grieve forever. Will we forget or stop loving you? No! Not now, not ever. As this day is upon us, oh, how our hearts still hurt. But even as I mourn your death, we will always celebrate your birth. It was the happiest day of our lives. POEM # 22 I'm writing this from heaven, where I dwell with God above. Where there's no more tears or sadness, there's just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy because I am out of sight Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night. And I will stay beside you, every day, week and year And when you're sad I'll still be there to wipe away your tears. When you think of my life on earth and all those living years, Because you’re only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry it does relieve the pain Remember there wouldn't be flowers unless we first had rain. I wish I could tell you of all that God has planned But even if I were able to, you wouldn't understand. When your going down the street and you've got me on your mind I'm walking in your footsteps and only half a step behind. And if you feel a gentle breeze or wind upon your face Remember it's only me with a loving and soft embrace. P. S. God sends His Love |
